JUMBO OT-LINE
Jumbo OT-LINE belongs to a new series of videomicroscopes studied to satisfy a particular request coming from different sectors of the industry for the control of quality on cumbersome manufactured articles.
This series of videomicroscopes is differentiated by our traditional Jumbo zoom series, already known for its high performances, because the vision of the surfaces happens not setting the objects on the table under the video head, but setting the Jumbo OT turned toward the vertical walls of the objects.
On this way it will be possible to effect very precise measurements or films if connected to a desktop or portable PC with the aid of our Video View software.
The device has a motorized column commanded by a joy-stick able to move vertically the head with slow and fast movements; a guide of precision with useful run of 30cm horizontally transports the video head.
The video system is composed by an zoom objective with magnifications between 44 and 244X (visible area to monitor 6.5x4.9mm and 1.2x0.9mm) in eight steps.
A particularly characteristic of this objective is the possibility to plan the eight magnifications in a jerky progressive way (similar to the system used on the objectives of the professional photographic cameras for the selection of the diaphragms).
With this system it is possible to effect a calibration for each of the eight magnifications of the objective and therefore to make certain and repeatable measurements.
The Jumbo OT is also available in a completely automatic and motorized version (x and z axis) able to follow the phases of the works, filming in the meantime the sequence of the processes.

APPLICATION EXAMPLE
An example of application of the Jumbo OT is shown in the photo where the subsidence of a railway sleeper in vibrated cement is visible when submitted to tons of pressure for a determined time (tests of laboratory requested for different certifications in testing phase).
